Steal It – OW as in \’cow\’ cards – additional cards – includes \’ought\’ and unusual spellings!

Australian Members of Reading Simplified’s Docs Steal It - OW as in \'cow\' cards - additional cards - includes \'ought\' and unusual spellings!

I made these additional cards to add to Marnie’s ‘Steal It’ games to challenge more advanced students. I usually play the original game first, then add these cards in subsequent sessions. I hope they are helpful to others! 🙂 They are as close as possible in size & font to the original games so you can print, laminate & slip them into your existing packs.

**PLEASE NOTE: I have put a couple of very unusual spellings in this pack. I have included:

OUGH as in plough, bough & drought

EO as in McLeod (TV show, ‘McLeod’s Daughters’)

AO as in Maori (Depending on how YOU pronounce this word it may or may not have an ‘ow’ sound!)

AU as in sauerkraut and kauri (A tree in NZ!)

As there were only 2 original colours in this pack I have added these unusual spellings in extra colours, just for a bit of fun. Use at your own discretion.

I have also put the word “without” in this pack in the light blue like the original ‘ou’ words in Marnie’s pack as her ‘without’ seemed to be in a darker font colour.

Have fun, Mim 🙂
