Instructions:
Print or write the cards (18 cards per page). If you don’t have want to use all the cards, just skip some of the cards and fill in the last one.
You can use a Switch It list. Or make one up to help with sounds and words that a student may be struggling with. Just remember that you’ll need to type or write in each word twice, except the first and last card. I have yam, who has yum? I have yum, who has chum? I have chum…
Shuffle the cards and pass them out to the students. Whoever has the first card starts by reading…”I have the first card. Who has …?” Then the students look for that word among their cards. If they have it, they read theirs and ask the next question. Repeat until they come to the last card.
Shuffle, play again.
