For my older students (Grades 3+), I often pair Reading Simplified lessons with some of the activities from Jessica Toste’s morphological fluency program Word Connections.
I adapted the scope and sequence of WC and built a word bank of multimorphemic words which fits with Reading Simplified’s phonics progression. I keep meaning to clean up the spreadsheet and post it here for anyone who is interested.
